From start to finish of the Solar Eclipse. The Moon approaches the Sun from the top right and starts it march across the Sun. It slowly continues until it completely covers the Sun at totality. A little over two minutes totality quickly ends and the Moon continues it's trek across the face of the Sun.
Image was taken 25 minutes after the start of the Solar Eclipse. Sunspots are seen on the surface of the Sun.
Nearing totality, little crescent arches are seen on the ground, as sunlight passes between the leaves of the trees.
To all the wonderful and nice people that I met at the Gerald City Park in Missouri during the solar eclipse. It was a great pleasure to meet, talk, and experience the eclipse with you all.
A big shout out to the staff and organizers at the Gerald City park. Your time and effort is much appreciated.
Pictures of the park and people hanging and chatting before the start of the eclipse. We all got lucky with the weather. Clouds push out as eclipse time arrived.
